Our journey began in December 2019, when we moved from Bosnia to Erie, PA, looking for a fresh start. Just a few months later, in early 2020, the pandemic hit. Because of COVID-19, we never had the chance to attend school or take formal English classes. Instead, we taught ourselves the language day by day, with help from our children, and later, through the kindness of our wonderful customers.At first, my husband and I worked separate jobs. But when we both caught COVID-19 and had to isolate for 15 days, everything changed. During those two weeks at home, we had a powerful realization. I had already built deep trust with my cleaning clients and needed someone reliable to help me expand. We looked at each other and knew that no one could make a better team than the two of us. We are married, we share the same values, and we both know what hard work means.
